I’ve been trying to find a pattern to knit a men’s pullover sweater with a saltire for me husband so my Mum can knit it for him. How would she incorporate this into a pattern or do you know where I could find a pattern for a sweater??? We’ve been searching for ages. Thanks

I guess it would really depend on if she’s planning to make the sweater all blue with the cross or if she wants to make it as more of a set-in piece. She could always make the Saltire and then build the sweater around it. Or she could do it as Intarsia. I’m afraid that I haven’t been knitting for very long (I do more crochet than knitting) and I’ve never knit a sweater (and I’ve never knit with different colors). So, I’m not sure what the best way would be for your Mum to do it. But, if she’s familiar with colorwork or Intarsia knitting, then I’m sure she’ll have no problem inserting this image into a sweater.
